The choice to make “Scopa” the focal point derives from the culture’s emphasis on quality time with family and friends, which often boils down to gathering around a deck of cards.
Naturally, the shoes themselves come packed with several clever “Scopa” ties. The co-branded labels on the medial sides reveal hidden messages when you flip them up like you would a set of cards, and the outsole features a print of the sun, the most powerful card in the game. The shoe’s canvas base, blue overlays, and red lining don’t have specific associations, but align well with the look of tablecloths and other gameplay surfaces.
