Andrew Rizzo Updated May 20th, 2024: The designer behind the Saucony “Moon Phase Pack” (@kodowar) just provided some context behind the shoes’ specific associations. The Grid Shadow 2 is inspired by the Summer Solstice, the ProGrid Omni 9 is inspired by the Autumnal Equinox, and the ProGrid Triumph 4 is inspired by the Winter Solstice. No release date has been set, but all three members of the “Moon Phase Pack” are expected to drop Fall 2024.

Hot off a slew of recent collaborations and well-executed inline pairs, Saucony plans to release a new footwear collection centered around a trendy theme; astrology.
The “Moon Phase Pack” includes three of the brand’s most popular silhouettes; the ProGrid Triumph 4, ProGrid Omni 9, and Grid Shadow 2. While each shoe boasts its own unique design and Zodaic-inspired associations, printed moon phase graphics appear consistently on all the insoles, lending the unofficial namesake.
Dreamy, vibrant, multi-colored palettes display prominently throughout the collection, all of which evoke the mystical nature of astrology and its broad cultural touch points. The ProGrid Triumph 4 and ProGrid Omni 9 speak to the theme with darker colors, while the Grid Shadow 2 works in pink gradients on its base and midsole.
