Foot Locker Announces Partnership With The Chicago Bulls

Community events and retail activations highlight the new deal.

Foot Locker Announces Partnership With The Chicago Bulls

Foot Locker is furthering their basketball efforts by uniting with one of the most storied NBA franchises.

The partnership truly centers around community engagement, already manifesting as Foot Locker presented a series of preseason youth tournaments towards the start of October. On November 2nd, the company’s State Street Chicago location will host a fan interaction activation, offering live meet-and-greets with current Bulls. Finally, for those hoping to get an extra window into their favorite ballers, the franchises will come together for the “Tunnel Walk” series on social media that taps into players’ pre-game rituals.

This is another assurance that Foot Locker is tackling the basketball scene from every angle. The news follows a similar announcement from around this time last year when Foot Locker and the NBA inked a deal linking the two titans. Further, the retail giant recently transformed their NYC flagship “Home Court” hoops hub, launched with special product from the Jordan 4 to the Kobe 8 and brought to life with the help of Nike and Jordan Brand.

Pay close attention during the Bulls-Magic game on October 30th to see some of the first on-court effects of this deal; Foot Locker will host a slew of pre-game festivities before tip-off, with FLX Rewards members able to parlay their points for a ticket raffle to attend.
