Nike Adds To The Zoom Vomero 5 “Chrome” Pack With Platinum Violet

Retro running aesthetics get a modern upgrade.

Nike Adds To The Zoom Vomero 5 “Chrome” Pack With Platinum Violet

The Nike Vomero 5 isn’t slowing down any time soon. Currently enjoying a modern renaissance thanks to the tech runner wave, the early 2010s classic has continued to adopt new looks that balance running heritage with modern aesthetics. Now building on an established look, the Beaverton brand is adding a dash of pastel to this upcoming “Chrome” pair for women.

Official images reveal a “Metallic Silver” Swoosh and underlays, complemented by a “Vast Grey/Summit White” cage with reflective touches. The delivery is informed heavily by a “Chrome” colorway that released in 2022 and restocked earlier this year, differing by way of “Platinum Violet” elements for added intrigue. The pastel hue appears on the base through white mesh netting, also touching up the top of the midsole and outsole. While likeminded metallic colorways have long been within the Vomero 5’s arsenal, this latest effort delivers a more modern, fashion-forward feel where others skew towards retro sport makeup.

No release date has been set at the time of this writing, but know that our Sneaker Release Dates hub will display all the most recent info as it comes in. As mentioned, these will be available exclusively in women’s sizing and will retail for $170.
