In the past few weeks numerous photos have surfaced of this Nike Dunk Low Supreme “R9 Mercurial” inspired by the soccer cleat (boot) that Brazilian soccer superstar, Ronaldo, wore in the late 1990’s when Brazil was at the peak of the soccer world being led by Ronaldo. Nike Soccer through it’s great marketing and product in addition to it’s stars like Ronaldo has never looked back. Now with the Dunk being the center piece of the Nike Sport Culture story for this year in regards to footwear, the Swoosh decided to pay homage to some of it’s soccer roots by implementing a mix between the Dunk Low and the R9 Mercurial in it’s original colorway.
