Air Max Day may have been a month ago, but the Jordan Brand seems to be keeping the celebration going by using iconic Max Air favorites as a source of inspiration. Its newest lifestyle model—the Jordan Delta 2—has been revealed to have another arrangement on the way that is strikingly similar to one of the aforementioned holiday’s highlights: the Air Max 90 “Bacon.”
Overall, the Jordan Delta‘s successor primarily uses a burgundy, tan, and pink mix that is comparable to the color scheme of the 2004 Nike and DQM collaboration. While the re-released Air Max model uses pink the least compared to the browns and reds employed, the Jordan Delta 2 applies a soft pink shade quite generously, as it tints the suede and mesh overlays that stretch from the forefoot to the midfoot—with the entirety of the reinvented React foam sole unit in this same hue. Tan later enters the silhouette to color the suede heel and lacestays, as well as the graphic and TPU overlays above the midsole. Elsewhere, this soft brown is seen on smaller details such as the embroidered Jordan and 23 logos on the sides and branded labels on the lace stays and tongue. This leaves burgundy to be found on the plush tongue, suede heel tab, and inside to deliver a classic colorway to a contemporary build.
