Yours truly is a big fan of the Nike Air Total Max Uptempo. Originally released in 1997, they were instant social proof as the most expensive basketball shoes that season. This time around, the Total Max is here more as a reminder of that era than its previous status as chunky tech king. We’ve seen both of the OG colourways retroed, plus a couple of dope new editions including a Reggie Miller PE. This pair is similar to Reggie’s in that the swooping side panel stripe is patterned, this time in white and red to compliment an otherwise grey upper. Whereas the black and powder blue joints won’t hit for a good while, these are sneaking in on Saturday, March 6th at Foot Locker‘s House of Hoops.
