Fittingly, Nike’s “First Use” pack has crossed many firsts off its list. And today, it’s to do so yet again as it invites the newly retro’d Air Max 96 II to the collection.
What ensues is a rather simple interpretation of vintage. The colorway itself, which mainly utilizes black and green, conforms to standard blocking. Dark shades dress the suede toe as it does the leather overlays behind, while the synthetic foundation is highlighted by the forest-like hue. Matching laces loop over top the white tongue, accessorized with gilded lace locks; silver reflective stripes dress throughout the upper in seldom; and a light yellowing ages the midsole by a few years.

In other news, the Denim Air Jordan 1 Mid is inching scarily close to Levi’s territory.
