Although the Nike Free Run 2 made its return this year, there is definitely much room for growth in the colorways department. Perhaps we will see more from the popular Nike Free Run silhouette later into the year, starting with an autumn-ready offering that reps a tonal army green aesthetic.
The running shoe’s flexible mesh upper is in a “Sequoia” shade that is also applied to the signature caged overlays. The overlays exhibit a suede texture that not only contrasts itself from the body’s mesh composition but also crafts a look that transitions well into the fall season. Another green, specifically “Medium Olive” is applied to the webbed tongue to further the tonal look. The offering is complete with the deep-grooved sole unit opting for a “Sail” coloring—rather than a stark white—for a vintage look.
Take a closer look at the Free Run 2 below, which will be hitting Nike.com in the coming months at a price of $110.
