Over the last four years, the sneakers have exploded in popularity. Newfound attention has brought about unwanted consequences like price-gouging on the after-marking, but it’s also encouraged disparate worlds from clashing. Case in point?: A four-pair collaboration between Hasbro and Diadora.
Made in Italy by the craftsman, Leo Colacicco, the collection features styles of the N9000, Intrepid and Eclipse inspired by Monopoly, Cluedo, Operation and Trivial Pursuit. Each pair’s premium mix of suede, leather and other materials is covered with colors directly transplanted from the games’ boards, logos and more. Although all four offerings opt for a multi-color arrangement, the sneakers commemorating Operation arguably boast the most vibrant and detailed makeup of the bunch. Graphics and names corresponding to all four of Hasbro’s games take over left and right heels, respectively, while shoe boxes feature imagery from the American conglomerate’s family of brands. Lastly, every pair arrives with a co-branded, special edition of Monopoly.
Enjoy product shots of the collection here below, and anticipate a select retailer launch on December 3rd.
