While not a true Retro, this season’s Air Jordan 13 “Brave Blue” remembers the colorway’s appearance atop the shoe’s low-top trim back in 1998. Likened to a “dream” — as a design like this has been discussed even long ago — the release could easily be one of the most-anticipated Retros of the year, and it’ll thankfully land in full family sizes.
In regards to its construction, the “Brave Blue” mirrors that of the OG Flints, with dimpled, ballistic nylon wrapping the side in the titular cool tone. Black tumbled leathers, then, accent the toe, matching the tongue, lower profile, and heel only in color. Moreover, pops of white appear across the midsole, the green holographic emblem dresses the rear as per standard, and a touch of “University Blue” (which didn’t appear on the above-mentioned low-top) marks the Jumpman logo. All of these details are found across the GS, PS, and TD iterations, albeit with slight visual tweaks.

In other news, the Air Jordan 3 Muslin is dropping this week.
