Jordan Brand is diving deep in the unreleased sample archives for an upcoming release that has never seen the light of day on a store shelf. The shoe in question is this white, black, and red colorway of the Air Jordan 8 that first surfaced back in 1993 during the silhouettes initial run.
First and foremost, the shoe is technically from the Sky Jordan family, the designated Jordan footwear line for kids that did not feature Air cushioning. This version sees a white leather base with a black suede overlay and cross-strap lay-out, with white buckles, midsoles, and heel-tabs. Paprika red is peppered onto the interior and the midsole, while an explosive black graphic covers the exterior heel guard and the exposed portion of the sole. Finally, the tongue features the Sky Jordan logo in place of the classic circular chenille patch.
This upcoming kids-exclusive release is set to arrive at Jordan retailers on September 23rd, 2022; see the official images ahead.
