The next NBA All-Star Weekend will take place in Salt Lake City from Feb. 18 to Feb. 20. The League’s best players are sure to put on a spectacle during the three-day event, but brands like Nike have begun the show earlier, revealing special footwear collections for the occasion.
Recently, the Oregon-based company unveiled three silhouettes inspired by Utah’s Bonneville Salt Flats. The Nike Dunk High, Air Force 1 Low, and Blazer Mid ’77 feature a muted color palette accompanied by cracked and eroded detailing. Canvas and suede land on the two Nike Sportswear designs from the 1980s, while leather covers the majority of older Nike Blazer. Altogether, the aforementioned components and accents help bring the 2023 All-Star Weekend’s destination to sneaker form in a worthwhile manner.
Enjoy a closer look at each pair ahead, and find them hitting retailers on Feb. 18.
