As the brand’s first official basketball shoe, the Nike Blazer Mid ’77 has appeared in countless iterations over the last handful of decades. Recently, the mid-top design emerged in a street basketball-inspired theme.
Smooth leather across the upper indulges in a pitch-black finish that extends onto fabric panels at the toe, lateral forefoot, and along the tongue. Inner-lining and underlays at the Achilles’ Heel follow suit in terms of color scheme, but profile swooshes introduce both a spray painted effect and off white tone. Midsoles also opt for a clean finish, but herringbone traction and “NIKE” branding on the tongue label.
Enjoy official photos of the pair ahead, and anticipate a nike.com launch soon.
In related sneaker news, the Air Max 1 continues to appear in new colorways.
