Nike has a habit of winterizing their most popular offerings, and the Air Force 1 is certainly no exception. And though the Fall/Winter is still a ways away, the brand is already taking preemptive measures to protect Bruce Kilgore’s much-beloved sneaker from the cold.
For 2023, the Nike Air Force 1 Winterized takes on an almost all-grey look, with a dark yellow applied to the outsole and tongue. The construction makes a number of improvements to the model’s weather resistance, tightening and taping the seams along the toe box and side, respectively. And in addition to the robust leathers that run the length of the shoe, the pair builds out its mid-panel with a waterproof ripstop material.
Enjoy a closer look at this winterized take on the Air Force 1 via the official images ahead. These — and possibly additional colorways — should be hitting Nike.com as well as select retailers within the next few months.
In other news, official images of the Air Jordan 1 UNC Toe surfaced last week.
