The Nike Dunk Low LX Receives A Dark, “Purple Ink” Colorway

With the Summer nearly over, Nike has all but traded in the bold and colorful for the dark and understated. This is especially true of the Dunk Low, which has just surfaced in a “Purple Ink” colorway.

Previously mistaken for Navy, the suede overlays of this Nike Dunk Low are dressed entirely in the titular “Purple Ink.” The tumbled leather Swoosh and heel tab as well as the speckled outsole follow suit in tone, while the textile base contrasts in the same black shade as the adjacent midsole and tongue. Finally, the pair is rounded out with a new set of branding: a single Swoosh adorns the tongue label, a blacked-out “Nike” logo paints the insole, and new fonts embroider the spine of the shoe.

Enjoy a closer look at this upcoming Nike Dunk Low via the official images ahead. These should be available soon via both Nike.com and select retailers.

In other news, official images of the Air Jordan 4 Red Cement surfaced yesterday evening.
