Iconized by Patrick Ewing during his rookie season with the New York Knicks, the adidas Forum Hi outfitted many NBA athletes throughout its mid-80s heyday. Residing just a year away from celebrating its 40th anniversary, the high-top hardwood staple now returns in a vintage Knickerbocker-inspired outfit.
Dawning a home-inspired outfit, the full-grain leather upper comes anchored in an overtly dominant “Cloud White” base layer, curing everything from the vamp, mid-foot collar and tongue construction in the blissful neutral hue. Elsewhere, the classic composition begins to compose an OG Knicks colorway, injecting the nylon inner lining, nubuck heel panel and profile 3-Stripes in a dark “Victory Blue”. What’s more, the underlying collar panel, trefoil logo and sliver of the buckle exercise a titular “Team Orange” conclusion.
The adidas Forum 84 Hi “Victory Blue/Team Orange” is expected to release via the CONFIRMED app in the coming weeks. In the meantime, the pair can be seen in detailed imagery below.
In other news from underneath the 3-Stripes umbrella, the adidas Crazy 1 recently surfaced in a quartet of colorways for the fall/winter.
