From UNC color blockings to OG “Chicago” ensembles, Jordan Brand has been exploring a fair amount of colored-in toe box constructions over the past few months. Recently, the latter aesthetic cured the hybrid Jordan Legacy 312 in “Royal Blue”.
While the original Don C construction has undergone a fair amount of titular ensembles throughout the initial summer months, the elephant print accented effort now explores an overtly familiar Jordan Brand hue. Jet-black leather overlays build out a dominant majority of the upper real estate, reserving the cracked heel counter, tread and perforated collar for a seldom wave of greyscale tones. Elsewhere, a crisp white midsole contrasts the pitch-dark treatment above whereas lively hits of “Royal Blue” animate the vamp, profile swooshes and tongue tab branding.
Release details have yet to be announced. In the meantime, the Jordan Legacy 312 “Royal Toe” can be seen in detailed retail imagery below.
In other news from the Beaverton brand, the Air Max CB ’94 returns to its staple black outfit.
