Nike is nothing without its references, often drawing inspiration from a variety of different cultural touchstones. And with the Fall/Winter ahead, the brand has seemingly taken an interest in classic menswear, as they’ve outfitted both the Air Force 1 as well as the Dunk Low in tweed and corduroy.
Following shortly behind its Bruce Kilgore-designed counterpart, this Nike Dunk Low takes a somewhat sartorial approach to its design, implementing materials more typical of old-fashioned tailoring. Woolen materials of distinctly patterned, albeit similarly-colored textures dress the overlays, complementing the deep brown finish of the corduroy Swoosh and outsole. Wide wale cords run the length of the base as well, though clad instead in a dark navy shade.
Enjoy a closer look at this upcoming Nike Dunk Low via the official images ahead. These will likely be available soon at Nike SNKRS as well as select retailers.
In other news, we’re only a day out from the release of the Supreme Nike SB Dunk Rammellzee.
