Updated January 29th, 2024: Official images of the Nike SB Dunk Low “Big Money Savings” have appeared. As of now, release information is unknown. According to @nikesbornothing, this design is inspired by the “Live, Laugh, Love” phrase that is often seen inside suburban homes. The “Big Money Savings” paper insert is inspired by store receipts typical of retail stores that sell goods with the “Live, Laugh, Love” design.

The below article was originally publishedd on December 27th, 2023.

The Nike SB Dunk Low had an impressive showing throughout 2023, and it’s looking to continue this trend in 2024.

Although big-name collaborations haven’t been unveiled as of this writing, the modified version of Peter Moore’s basketball sneaker has already been seen in a handful of compelling inline styles prepped for the new year. In addition to tonal makeovers, Nike SB‘s most popular silhouette will appear in several thematic makeovers. The latest to surface features a number of muted colors throughout its multi-material upper. Its brown and grey arrangement only helps accentuate bolder detailing, however, which includes a metallic silver pattern at the mid-foot. Nearby panels also indulge in compelling textures, helping create a disparate look seemingly inspired by the mix of items at discount stores and/or thrift shops.

On the puffy tongue’s underside, the SB Dunk Low boasts a long receipt-like label that reads “BIG MONEY SAVINGS!!!” in large lettering. Nike Skateboarding branding also adorns the “receipt,” as do faux barcodes. The pair’s understated color palette evokes images of affordable, but perhaps not-the-most-stylish home goods, common finds at spots like Ross Dress for Less. It’s possible the sneaker nods to the unreal finds some lucky shoppers come across when browsing the shelves of these discount stores. Over the last decade, many netizens have taken to social media to share some of the rare and hype pairs they’ve found at a fraction of both retail and after-market prices.

Enjoy an early look at the pair ahead, as you wait for firm Nike SNKRS launch details.
