“Dark Powder Blue” Patent Leather Treats The Jordan Nu Retro 1 Low

Classic Jordan Brand treatments take to the 2002-born model.

“Dark Powder Blue” Patent Leather Treats The Jordan Nu Retro 1 Low

Unique interpretations of the Air Jordan 1 have become more popular in recent years, led by a growing catalog of Craft, CMFT, and Method of Make models.

In 2002, well before this current generation of “upgraded classics” came to light, sneakerheads were introduced to Jordan Nu Retro 1 Low. The shoe slept quietly in Nike’s archives for the better part of two decades before being brought back in 2022, now hitting shelves once more by way of a new “Dark Powder Blue” colorway.

The Nu Retro 1 puts Michael Jordan’s iconic wings logo front and center, appearing split in two parts across the shoe’s lateral panels. Blue patent leather takes to the toe and heel of this installment, embracing a familiar Jordan Brand hue while matching the material composition of an upcoming Patent Bred pair. The silhouette then adopts drastic changes underfoot, calling in a mini Jumpman logo and clear rubber accent on a slightly modified, chunkier structure.

No release date has been set, but expect this pair to hit shelves soon alongside the aforementioned Bred colorway. In the meantime, enjoy official images below and read up on news of the Jordan 3 Black Cement Reimagined coming Holiday 2024.
