First teased a few months back by its designer, Yue Wu, it appears the release for one of the loudest designs to grace the ever-prevalent New Balance 1906R is just around the corner.
While we’re familiar with colorways in lanes both colorful and neutral, this is something new entirely. Instead, patterns illuminate this configuration, with a scattered polka dot pattern stretched across two opposing palettes in white-on-black and black-on-white. By painting that print on the underlying mesh portions, the silhouette’s stratified hardware is still in the spotlight, easiest seen when it interrupts the circles below. As a whole, these new editions graft on a playful energy while holding onto the tech-runner style that’s made this shoe so inescapable.
Both pairs are available at retailers Sneakersnstuff and should be hitting newbalance.com shortly for $155. Head below to our “Where To Buy” section for direct links.
