Luxe Linen Notes Land On The Nike Air Max 1

A tonal refresh for the ever-classic silo.

Luxe Linen Notes Land On The Nike Air Max 1

If it ain’t broke don’t fix it. The Nike Air Max 1 has relied on grey-heavy, tri-tone color blocking for 37 years and counting, becoming one of the most beloved models out of Oregon in that run. As earthy tonality continues its own trendy run, there’s no better silhouette to embrace it, on full display with the latest Nike Air Max 1 colorway.

With a few exceptions, this is simply a palette swap of the “Sport Red” and “Royal Blue” pairs that collectors still clamor for. In the place of those primary colors is natural “Light Orewood Brown,” setting the stage for the additional slight tweaks throughout this shoe’s profile. The midsole, tongue and laces all embrace off-white tonality to enhance this earthy overhaul, while the outsole adds speckled detail to its tri-tone arrangment. Even with the couple of tweaks, this pair holds onto the unending retro appeal of the Air Max 1 yet manages to bring a modern, on-trend character in the process.

The Nike Air Max 1 “Light Orewood Brown” lands this Fall. While we await concrete release & pricing info, enjoy detailed images ahead to get a sense of what to expect.
