The Nike Air Force 1 has historically molded to larger sneaker trends through different colors and materials, but simple versions of Bruce Kilgore’s classic have long been some of Nike’s best sellers. While hardly an essential triple white or triple black colorway, this new pair for Fall/Holiday 2024 strikes a similar, familiar note.

Right off the bat, light gums soles stand out as the shoe’s defining feature. While gum soles have long been within Nike’s wheelhouse, recent years have seen an uptick in such treatments, especially on lifestyle classics like the AF1 and myriad Nike Dunk colorways.

Up top, non-traditional materials are met with standard black and white color blocking, as the Swoosh, heel, and tongue label provide contrast to the otherwise all-black upper. While the toe box and quarter feature traditional leather, the overlays come crafted out of suede for subtle uniqueness.

The Air Force 1 Low “Black/White/Gum” drops Fall/Holiday 2024 in men’s sizing, likely for around $115. See detailed images courtesy of JD Sports below and tap our Sneaker Release Dates page while we track more upcoming deliveries out of Beaverton.
