No disrespect to Comme des Garcons Homme Plus, but the proper retro release of the Air Max Sunder is finally here. The “Canyon Gold” colorway finally returned to stores earlier in July, but we’ve got a look at another gold-associated release that takes the highest platform on the podium with ease.

Here’s a look at the Nike Air Max Sunder “Metallic Gold”, featuring a metallic overlay above a black base. There’s always an attitude of elegance that comes attached with the shiny material, and the Sunder’s no exception despite its edgy appeal and Nike’s marketing efforts attempting to speak to the younger, Y2K fashion crowd. This “Metallic Gold” is just one of several Air Max Sunder colorways that are due out this Holiday season, all of which seem to be made in women’s sizing.

A firm release date has yet to be revealed, but as stated earlier, this golden Sunder is expected this Holiday 2024 scattered within a full arsenal of Sunder colorways.
