The city of Paris has informed a sizable chunk of Nike releases in 2024. Headlined by a slate of lifestyle releases in honor of the Paris Olympics this past summer, the Beaverton brand has also come out with an SB Dunk series and “City Pack” Air Force 1 inspired by the French capital. Come Spring 2025, Nike will return to Paris once more with another city-inspired take on the Bruce Kilgore classic.
Standard and patent leather balance each other out up top, with the latter material comprising the quarter and heel panels. Much like the Travis Scott Jordan 1 Low “Phantom” from 2022, the shoe features an all-black upper and sole with white stitching for stark contrast, matched by white lining and “Nike Air” backtab text.
The only clear reason for the “Paris” moniker appears on the lateral side of the midsole, where Nike adds a Swoosh alongside “Paris” text. Unlike the aforementioned Air Force 1 Paris from earlier this year, which was clearly inspired by the catacombs, the theme of this pair isn’t nearly as obvious. However, given the small branded cameo, we can surmise the design is informed by the city’s reputation as an epicenter for high fashion.
As mentioned, the Nike Air Force 1 “Paris” is currently earmarked for a Spring 2025 arrival. Budget for a $150 retail price if these earn a spot on your wish list.
