Many of you are probably hyped about the upcoming Retro releases of the Air Jordan XI Cool Grey, Air Jordan VII Olympic, and the Air Jordan XIII Flint, but let’s not forget this original colorway that released before any of those three. Here’s another look at the Air Jordan IX (9) ‘Charcoal’, an original colorway and first-ever retro of the Air Jordan IX. The upper features a mix of black and dark charcoal nubuck with an all-black midsole and true-red trim. These outrank the CG XI, Flint XIII, and Olympic VII in terms of seniority as well as being underrated, but this upcoming September release should change the latter.
