Flywire is perhaps one of Nike’s more high profile new technologies as of late, thanks to the phenomenal marketing campaign for the Nike Hyperdunk, which features said high-tech material in its construction. By cutting down on required materials, thereby saving on weight, while sacrificing nothing in terms of performance, Flywire is undoubtedly a technology that will see widespread use amongst Nike’s various product lines in coming years. In the running field however, Nike has already incorporated the technology into its Zoom Victory+, one of their best running shoes to date. Now, the Zoom Victory+ has been added to the repertoire of kicks available for customization on Nike iD, Nike’s online shoe customization service.

Newly revamped, the Nike iD online creation system features a nearly full 3D interface, with the ability to freely view the shoe from almost any angle imaginable. The service itself has been streamlined as well, allowing for customization options for each part of the sneaker to be accessed simply by clicking on the respective part of the shoe. For example, if one wanted to change the color of the flywire, you would simply click on it, and a bubble with the available colors would appear next to the image. The Flash design used in this site was definitely well thought out by Nike, and will contribute to an easier, more user-friendly design experience! If you want to cop these Zoom Victory+’s, and put your own special touch on them, get them now at NikeStore.
