The third time’s the charm, or so they say, but when your first Nike Air Force 1 Bespoke was as good as Steven Pinkerton’s Cookie Monster-inspired ‘Round 1’, it takes something special to be the winning entrant. But we haven’t seen too many Bespokes like Pinkerton’s latest, the ‘Round 3’ defined by the textures apparent on the range of premium materials making up their uppers. It starts at the toe with a Maharam fabric featring tonal green digi-camo and continues the earthy vibe with Loden green on the suede Swoosh and perforated lenticular side panels. Those same large gauge perfs are replicated on the white rear quarter that gives these a lighter feel than had they employed any other color; does this unique take on the autumn hunter vibe make for Stevens best Bespokes yet?
