Updated October 9th, 2024: Despite earlier reports, the upcoming Air Jordan 12 “French Blue” will indeed be a true retro release of the original version from 2004. It will not be an updated version as depicted by the mock-up below.

The below article was originally published on August 30th. For the most accurate and up to date information, please see above this line.

The ever-abundant list of 2025 Jordan Releases adds another potentially massive hit inspired by a Retro colorway that the Jordan community was quite fond of.

The Air Jordan 12 “French Blue 2.0” is reported to release in Fall 2025, introducing a slight variation from the 2004 classic. With color specifications of White/French Blue/Metallic Silver/Varsity Red, this updated take sees the familiar French Blue Jordan 12 col0r-blocking with a touch of red on the mid-foot piece that sits at the tail end of the reptile-textured mudguard. Additionally, the interior lining will be painted in the same blue shade (the original had a clean white lining).

Although promising on paper, this Air Jordan 12 “French Blue 2.0” pales in comparison to the massive array of Jordans releasing next year. The jam-packed list includes the Air Jordan 5 “Black Metallic Reimagined”, the Air Jordan 8 “Bugs Bunny”, and several other original colorways that set the firm foundation of Jordan culture as we know today.
