Given the timing involved, there’s absolutely no way this shoe wasn’t going to exist.  We’re talking about the model that’s proven to be Nike’s annual Black History Month collection anchor, and one that’s celebrating its thirtieth anniversary with some of the simplest colorways we’ve seen in years.  But the Nike Air Force 1 Low ‘BHM’ is anything but simple, even with a relatively conservative blend of grey and brown suedes plus a black Swoosh.  But that last feature is affixed with a zig-zagging stitch, the kind of angular look that’s echoed on the laces, which in turn lends its high-energy palette to a different pattern on the sockliner.  These same patterns are in play on the Zoom Kobe VII, LeBron 9 and Zoom KD IV, while the other three Nike Sportswear drops go for different color schemes.  Which ones turned out best?  Click through for a better look at the 2012 Black History Month Air Force 1s and look for them at retailers like Rock City Kicks along with the other BHM ’12 drops on Saturday, February 11th.
