The most recent pair of ‘Galaxy’ Nike Zoom Rookies we saw earlier this week displayed a soft blue on the Air Flight One-inspired pods as an indication that they glow in the dark just like the sole on February’s legendary Air Foamposite One.  And just when you think that an early production model might reveal the final result, the same retailer known for getting its hands on heat months before everyone else shows us a different build.  This ‘Galaxy’ Zoom Rookie opts for black pods instead, which has a nice balancing effect but might not be quite as exciting as either the other pair’s blue ‘natural’ state (and definitely can’t outshine the GITD capability).  Still, it’s not simply cramming a bunch of details into a single sneaker that makes for a standout, and the Zoom Rookie itself represents a shining example of how to gracefully combine selections from a buffet of tasty details.  So you make the call, Sneaker News readers: glow-in-the-dark or black pods on the ‘Galaxy’ Zoom Rookie LWP?  The latter is depicted in greater detail below, and be sure to stick with us to find out which version releases, and exactly when.
