The Vans Native American has typically appeared in a hightop format whose lines and rubberized toecap make them essentially a hybrid of Off the Wall’s own legendary Sk8-Hi and the immortal Converse Chuck Taylor All Star. Neither the ‘-Hi’ nor toecap apply to this new pack, but the Vans Native American is indeed back, and this time in lowtop form. There’s quite a bit of Sk8 DNA expressing itself here on red and black designs with white Waffle soles, but thanks to the contrast of canvas and mesh, respectively, on the heels, these end up feeling closer to the tech-happy new LXVI collection. Let us know which of these Anthony Van Engelen-penned looks best after you’ve had a chance to compare them below, then find yours available straight from The General.
