Everything ‘Galaxy’ has to this point been about as difficult to get your hands on as a ticket to the international space station, and some are even rarer than the rest. Take for example Sole Collector’s special edition ‘Galaxy’ Nike Zoom Rookie, whose glow-in-the-dark AFOne pods are considerably rarer and thus more valuable than the black-inserted edition. But instead of starting with the SC edition, Chef of GourmetKickz (he of ‘Rook O Lantern’ fame) added a pale green color to the pods, with one of two of his GITD-treated styles adding the phosphorescent effect to the bubbles for an even spacier feel. The insets shine like supernovas amidst a starry field, and you can see both versions of the ‘Galaxy’ Zoom Rookie Custom up close after the jump below.
