The most recent piece of Sneaker News regarding the iconic Nike Huarache series was the answer to sneakerhead demands with the return of the original Air Huarache colorways.  The two coming up on Friday don’t include the OG Scream Green edition, and pictured above is another Huarache not available in that Sprite-ish mix.  Tagged simply Nike A. Huarache, this runner was left out of the spring 2006 catalog, but we get a good look at what might have been thanks to a lightly beaten wear test sample.  Elements of note include the signature heel reinforcement and a large sweep of open mesh netting on the side that in lieu of any other branding aside from the aforementioned achilles, would perhaps have served as the shoe’s own unique trademark.  Have a closer look below so you can evaluate an opinion and stick with Sneaker News for more rarities.
