Reebok Zig Escape “Blacktop”

John Wall missed the first half of the 2012-13 NBA season with a knee injury, and all the Synvisc-One in the world couldn’t keep his latest Reebok signature moving at retail.  RBK went so far as to reorganize its brand strategy toward classics and away from performance basketball after Wall left for parent company adidas in January, but here’s a look at his last Vector brand sigs done in a familiar style from the 1990s.  The Reebok Zig Escape Blacktop Edition hearkens back to the streetball-focused sublabel that earned RBK some street cred before Allen Iverson arrived.  This pair features a high-contrast Kentucky Wildcats-leaning colorway and a new aggressive texture on the mudguard; click through to have a closer view and let us know if this is the best Zig Escape to date.
