After a ton of dope classic runners Gel and otherwise, Asics is giving a bit more attention to its old school basketball hightops. So after this shoe’s ‘Mexican Blanket’ makeup and the Grandest previews, the Onitsuka Tiger Fabre ‘Panda’ is poised to make an impact. This yin-yang of a mita sneakers collaboration was inspired by giant pandas at Tokyo’s Ueno Zoo, so their black and white asymmetrical uppers are cast in a wild fur material. These hit Japanese retailers in late April and are now available in select sizes at SNS.
