Most of Nike’s ACG revival has been re-releases of beloved models from the 90’s. That’s saying nothing about the quality of the new designs, which have been as futuristic and tech-packed as their predecessors were last decade. The new Nike ACG Air Salbis Mid GTX fits into the second category but borrows heavily on the former. A portmanteau of Sertig and Terra Albis, this 3/4-height trail boot also borrows the grid pattern from another Nike mashup. Don’t forget the waterproof Gore-Tex upper and Trail Frame suspension for those tough days on the mountain paths. These are set for a Fall 2009 release and you can check back with Sneaker News for updates. via SnkrFrkr
