Nobody has yet matched JBF’s mastery of exotic materials applied to custom Air Jordan classics, but PMK Customs is one of the select few who have come close. PMK comes through with his second such build after the dope ‘Brooklyn Zoo’ Air Jordan 1, this time actually taking out the signature texture of one of the most beloved models. This Air Jordan III Retro ’88 custom job sees its white leather replaced with a croc texture, and perhaps to balance the effect, the Elephant print sections have been converted to a smooth grey leather. This red leather-lined handcrafted AJ3 is luxurious and has a certain grasp on ‘negative space’, which is to say it’s likely you’ll look at these longer because of the missing elephant. Let us know how these compare to the best custom IIIs after you’ve seen more below and stick with Sneaker News for the latest.
