Will we ever get to the point where elite coaches get their own signature shoes? This new Nike Air Trainer Max ’91 revelation would be a good start in tribute to the Buddy Ryan era, though perhaps it’s more natural to associate this Philadelphia Eagles throwback with Reggie White and/or Randall Cunningham. All three of these men represent the era in Eagles history when the Pine Green, black and white palette on these Trainer Max 91s matched the logo that’s embroidered into their heels. This ‘Philly Knows’ edition follows the ‘Bo Knows’ Oakland Raiders joints from earlier in the year and could perhaps signal more NFL Nikes around the corner.
