Champs Sports Megatron Game Plan 01 570x382

The Game Plan from Champs Sports has returned, this time packing an incredible exclusive set of Transformers inspired sneakers. Yes, a couple of premium Champs Sports locations will have the three sneaker “Megatron Collection” set from Nike-of which there are only 81 in existence. The collection is a tribute to Calvin Johnson and his “Megatron” nickname, one that’s even earned him a special action figure in the case of the deluxe set shown off here.

Included in the group are the Nike CJ81 Trainer Max and the Nike Air Trainer SC II. Those two sneakers cover both the old and the new and manage to port the theme over onto a classic Swoosh trainer while simultaneously keeping things current via the inclusion of Johnson’s signature shoe. And then there’s the cleat version of said shoe-which is only available in the limited box set. Continue reading for a look at the “Megatron Collection” (Complimentary Transformer figure included) and keep in mind that it will be available at the Champs Sports Cherry Hill location only, while the individual pairs can be located at a Champs Sports retailer on 11/26. See the exclusive selection here.
