The resurgence of the Nike Air Presto comes in an era where the sock-like feel is all the rage. While other brands are scrambling to meet that demand, all Nike had to do was reach back to its archives and pull out this impeccable gem that was, quite obviously, years ahead of its time. But the brand isn’t going to bring back a shoe without considering the future of the design, and today’s revelation of the Nike Flyknit Presto proves that this comeback isn’t just about re-issues of OG colorways. In fact, the Presto is no rookie when it comes to evolving into different models, but the Flyknit Presto is something quite different in that the silhouette is now a chukka-like mid-cut with a full Flyknit upper, much like the Mercurial Superflys and Footscape Magistas that debuted after last year’s World Cup. Expect these in the Spring 2016 season.
