The NBA season may have concluded and the champagne and celebration from the Warriors victory parade may be a distant (and slightly fuzzy) memory, but Under Armour isn’t done with Steph Curry‘s fifth signature shoe just yet. After a pop-up in Oakland celebrating Chef Curry’s 3rd NBA Championship that featured exclusive colorways of both the Curry 5 and the Curry 4 we now have a look at a new colorway of Curry’s latest sneaker, done up in a Seattle Seahawks-esque navy and volt.
The shoe’s upper offers the unique blend of knit construction, firm sidewalls, and head-turning lacing system that the Curry 5 has become known for all dressed in a rich navy blue. Detail arrives via a neon green logo on the tongue and a black plastic heel counter featuring Steph’s signature on the medial side. A white midsole provides contrast with the dark-colored upper, and the shoe’s white outsole features a large diamond-shaped hit of neon green for an extra pop of color. These new Curry 5s don’t have an official release date yet, but enjoy a full first look below and let us know what you think of the new colorway.
