As his footwear endorser, adidas has been making sure that the rising star has shoes to match his refined and athletic game—and images of a new adidas Crazy Explosive PE designed for the former Kansas Jayhawk have surfaced. Utilizing a striking lime green as the base color throughout, the shoe’s upper offers interesting accents via an abstract blue embroidered pattern on the midfoot and toebox, while a blue floating three stripes graphic appears on the lateral heel. The tongue features Wiggins-specific branding nodding to his Canadian heritage and a factory floor-style tag for an extra pop of industrial flair. A Bounce midsole with an iridescent midfoot plate provide cushioning, and the translucent outsole features a multi-colored maple leaf design.
