First Look At The BAPE x adidas Ultra Boost

First Look At The BAPE x adidas Ultra Boost

Back in July, we brought you word that Japanese-based streetwear titan BAPE would be reprising their esteemed collaborative relationship with adidas on a camouflage-infused Ultra BOOST set to coincide with the Super Bowl on February 2nd. For a few months all we had to go off of was a photoshop rendering of a woodland camo version as well as a much darker variety made up of blacks and greys, much like their revered 2017 pairing on the NMD R1. Today, we are here to bring you a first actual look at the more colorful version of the two, dressed in a combination of forrest-friendly green, brown, and tan. Standout elements include a shimmering metallic gold Three Stripes midfoot cage as well as a stars and stripes BAPE logo on the tongue and insole of the right shoe, opposite of a gold adidas Brand stamp on the left. A black full length BOOST sole unit, instep, and heel cup add contrast, while metallic silver aglets add a finishing premium touch to this selection. Unlike the aforementioned Bape adidas NMD, this particular offering does not equip any obvious ape head shapes woven into its Primeknit upper. While no official word regarding this collaborative project’s Super Bowl release has been reported at the moment, enjoy a detailed look below and keep it locked for updates.
