Nike To Release Hornets Inspired Little Posite One For All-Star

With the 2019 NBA All-Star Game in Charlotte less than a month away, the anticipation that always surrounds the celebration of the league’s best and brightest talents is beginning to build. Of course, with each and every All-Star Weekend, there’s a slate of special sneaker releases as well — and this year has certainly not disappointed on the footwear front so far. Nike and Jordan’s special ASW-related kicks are packed chock-full of North Carolina pride, ranging from UNC-inspired Air Jordan 9s to an Air Force 1 Low that draws from the Charlotte Motor Speedway and more. Of course, the Hornets are a focal point of the weekend festivities as well, so Nike is nodding to the beloved hometown franchise with a special Little Posite One.

This pint-sized take on the Nike Foamposite One features a stark black upper, while accents are provided by a classic Hornets purple and teal palette: the pull tabs employ a striped design, the heel 1 Cent logo combines the two colors, a special honeycomb pattern appears on the midfoot’s carbon fiber plate, and the outsole is teal with a bold purple Swoosh. For a finishing touch, the teal insole also boasts an All-Star Game logo graphic. These Little Posite Ones will release February 15th on Nike.com and at select Swoosh Brand stockists for $180 USD, so check out a gallery of official images below while you wait.
