Nike LeBron 17 “Lakers” Releases On October 10th

After a disappointing first season with the LA Lakers, LeBron James is back with a vengeance for his second season with the purple & gold, and he’ll have some picture-perfect footwear to wreak havoc on the hardwood in as his new Nike LeBron 17 is releasing in a “Lakers” colorway. The Lakers boast what’s arguably the most iconic palette in professional sports, so the LeBron 17’s new Knitposite upper is interspersed with marbled purple and gold detailing, making for a compellingly fresh take on the recognizable combo. Apart from the vibrant pops of color, the rest of the top half is dressed in black, while the tongue features a bold embossed lion with glowing golden eyes, LBJ’s #23 in a classic “Showtime” Lakers font and a purple crown logo. The heel collar also features a pointy design inspired by a crown for a clever nod to LeBron’s iconic nom de guerre.

Down below, the ultra high-tech cushioning system was designed to contain LeBron’s unique combo of thundering power and artful finesse.
