Often thrown to the sidelines in favor of Jordan Retros or newfound inline releases, the Nike Air Foamposite One was unequivocally the frontrunner for sneaker culture years prior, once taking the world by storm with the ever-coveted Galaxy colorway and on. Aiming to continue that very trajectory at the start of the new decade, the model’s latest release seems to be yet another of all-over maximalism, dressing up the entire shelled upper in a loud, cracked Lava print, ostensibly borrowing from the famed Air Tech Challenge 2. Both sides, lateral and medial, share the same black and red pattern, however, it’s their various geometrics that differ quite heavily. The outer views allure by way of a much smaller, illusory styling while slowly transitioning to a cracks larger and more pronounced. Elsewhere, the pair is par for the course with treads, tongues, and smooth leathers overlays lying low in flat coloring. Grab a good look at these here and find them rumored to release on January 19th.
