Nike Adds Contrasting Colors To The Layered Look Of The Nike Air Force 1 Shadow

Nike Adds Contrasting Colors To The Layered Look Of The Nike Air Force 1 Shadow

Although capitalizing on the stacked aesthetic found throughout Nike’s heralded collaboration with sacai, the Air Force 1 Shadow has gradually carved out an identity of its own through many a mashup of colors that shouldn’t work together, but surprisingly do – and it’s upcoming pink/aqua/mint outfit does just that. Sitting atop a white midsole, the first hit of color appears at the heel via the blue “AIR”-branded back panel joining the plan bottoms to the loud uppers; the same hue appears at the toe box, tongue, heel, and lateral side Swoosh, preferring these areas’ sublayer. Pink gets into the mix in a tumbled leather at the heel panels and ankle flaps, while also taking over the regularly placed branding on the tongue, “AF1” dubrae, and medial mudguard –its counterpart being done in black. Laces are done in the fresh color that decorates the most pronounced Swooshes found on this women’s shoe.

No official release date is yet known for this cotton candy-like iteration, but expect these Air Force 1 Shadows to drop on Nike.com and at select retailers as we inch closer to the Spring.
