The Nike Air Force Max II Gets A Classic Black, Red, And White Mix

The Nike Air Force Max II Gets A Classic Black, Red, And White Mix

Once the go-to sneaker for Anthony Davis, the Nike Air Force Max II is scheduled to get a “Bred” outfit later this year. Built around the idea that centers have to stay agile in today’s game, the performance model opts for an engineered mesh upper secured at the midfoot by translucent plastic cages sitting atop a red full-length Max Air unit first engineered specifically for basketball as part of the LeBron 7. Speckled detailing adds contrast to the otherwise plain midsole and elsewhere on the shoe, accents are minimal; lateral Swooshes are oversized, but kept white and are the only branding on the shoe’s top-half save for the model’s name on the tongue tab; red dots cover the black laces; and adjustable lace straps are mostly done in the same dark hue. The only other notable embellishment on this hoops sneaker is Nike’s ever-famous slogan – “Engineered To The Exact Specifications Of Championship Athletes” – found near the arch on the medial side.
